A Trip to the Zoo

Last weekend, we decided to learn about animals and visited the zoo. The zoo is located above a large valley, so we enjoyed a nice view. To get there, we had to cross across a small bridge. We arrived after breakfast, excited to see all the animals. The first stop was the lions, resting against a big rock.

We walked along the path, where colorful birds flew among the trees. Families were sitting around the picnic area, enjoying snacks. We found a map at the entrance that helped us plan our visit.

Before seeing the monkeys, we stopped for some ice cream. Behind the monkey cage, there was a play area for kids. A little squirrel ran below the benches, searching for food. A small cat even hid beneath a bush nearby.

We took a break beside the elephant area, where a baby elephant played between two large ones. Then, we walked further and saw giraffes eating leaves beyond the fence. There was also a zookeeper standing by the pond, feeding the ducks.

Despite the heat, we explored the reptile house. Inside, we saw a snake slithering down a branch. During this time, we learned so much about different species. Everyone enjoyed the exhibits, except my younger brother, who was scared of the snakes.

We bought some souvenirs for our family. On the way back, we saw a tram coming from another part of the zoo. There was a small café in the garden, so we stopped to rest. The kids played inside a little playhouse there.

When we got home, everyone rushed into the living room to share pictures. We placed the souvenirs near the table and started talking of all the amazing animals we had seen. It was a fantastic day!
